Child / Children Therapy
First Step youth therapists utilize a family therapy system for the health and well-being of the child. When counseling children, our patient therapists make sure to engage with the child's caregiver as a partner in problem-solving. Additionally, all child therapy treatments are customized to meet the specific needs of the child and family to ensure that they are receiving the best care from the respective child therapist or counselor.
Child mental health services make a difference in helping young adults and children that are struggling with a mental health issue, mental illness, or disorder. With treatment programs such as cognitive behavioral therapy, our professional counselors hope to guide younger children through the extremely emotional time of childhood and adolescence. We customize the care & treatment plan for your child by providing a variety of services to suit their mental health needs, ranging from early intervention services o in-home services.
